The Florence Red Wolves are ranked #17 in the country by PG Crosschecker in this week's rankings.  The Red Wolves entered the top 20 after clinching the South Division first half championship on Saturday.  Other CPL teams ranked are Forest City (#6) and Edenton (#22).  PG Crosschecker is a national organization that tracks the progress of summer league teams in the US. 

In ranking the Red Wolves, it was noted that the Wolves are  getting "unexpected big years from Texas A&M-CC 1B Trey Hernandez (.329-2-21), Mercyhurst (Pa.) RHP Sam O'Neill (5-0. 1.92)"
