Internship Program




 The Florence RedWolves Baseball Team has several summer internships available each summer. Interns   will get the opportunity to learn how to run a baseball club on a daily basis, while also working in an e   exciting fast-paced environment.


 Students majoring in Sports Management/Administration, Sports Marketing, Retail Management, Public   Relations/Promotions, Creative Writing, Broadcast Journalism, Theatre, Mass Communications,   Hospitality, Tourism, Photography, and Videography can benefit from this internship. It allows you to   work with an established team and connect yourself with a growing league, as you gain the valuable   experience to further your career. We promise this will be a summer you will never forget!


Past interns with the Florence RedWolves have gone on to continue their careers within sport to include teams such as the Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Diamondbacks, Hickory Crawdads (Texas Rangers- Class A), Charleston RiverDogs (New York Yankees- Class A), American Junior Golf Association, and even with us- the RedWolves!

Our season consists of 27 regular season home games. The season runs from the end of May to mid-August. Interns will be expected to report mid-May and stay until the conclusion of the season.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up/tear down on game days
  • Plan/organize theme nights
  • Assigned projects

  • Sell tickets
  • Fan interaction

Minimum Qualifications

    • Strong interest in sports industry
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Teamwork
    • Highly motivated
    • Professional

*Interns are required to work all game days and some non-game days. Housing will be provided for interns (except those located within the Florence area) and some meals will be provided on home game nights when available. Interns will be responsible for their own transportation and food while in Florence.
