The Florence RedWolves fall to the Savannah Bananas 9-3 on Thursday night at Sparrow Stadium.
The RedWolves took an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth when McLendon Sears (College of Charleston) singled home Greg Vaughn (LIU-Brooklyn) before later scoring on a wild pitch.
But the Bananas would answer back with three in the sixth to make it 3-2.
The Bananas offense would not stop there as they would tack on six more runs in the eighth and ninth to cruse to a 9-3 win.
Colby Lee (Francis Marion) took the loss after tossing 7 innings allowing seven runs on five hits while striking out five.
Sears paced the RedWolves offense going 2 for 4 with a double and two runs scored.
The RedWolves (19-23) will hit the road on Friday to take on the Fayetteville SwampDogs in North Carolina.
