"Grey is a very talented infielder for the Saluki baseball team," Vruggink said. "He has seen time all around the infield for their team in his time there, but I see him playing shortstop for us this summer. I am very excited to watch Grey and see the baseball player that he is. The coaches at SIU-C speak very highly of him and his ability and character."
Ulick is junior catcher and native of Washington, Illinois. So far this season, Ulick has appeared in 13 games batting .212 with a double, a triple and one RBI.
"Austin is in his second year as a member of the Saluki program," Vruggink said. "He started his career off at Illinois Central College. Austin saw a lot of time as a sophomore behind the plate and I am really excited to watch him handle our pitching staff all year. Having a veteran guy behind the plate is something I am really excited for. Catchers seem to always get better with experience, so I am ready to see what Austin does in a RedWolves uniform."

"JT is a very strong, physical member of the Saluki program," Vruggink said. "He is someone who has the ability to lose a ball with any swing. I am excited for JT to come out and be a part of our team this summer."

Host Families Needed
Host families are an important and much-appreciated part of the RedWolves organization. Local families have opened their homes to our players each summer, and their generosity has helped us make the RedWolves a successful part of the Florence community.
Host families provide room and board to a RedWolves player for the entire season. All RedWolves players are college student-athletes and are not paid to play in the Coastal Plain League per NCAA rules.
Becoming a host family can be a rewarding experience. Often players and families share a friendship that last long after the season ends. Also, becoming a host family will earn you FREE SEASON TICKETS!
If you are interested in becoming a host family, please email RedWolves General Manager Barbara Osborne at email@example.com or call the RedWolves office at 843-629-0700.
