Four former RedWolves on teams in MLB postseason

FLORENCE, S.C. – Four former Florence RedWolves players are on Major League Baseball teams that have advanced to the postseason. Adam Engel '11 (Chicago White Sox), Tim Hill '13 (San Diego Padres), Clarke Schmidt '15 (New York Yankees) and Lou Trivino '12 (Oakland Athletics) all appeared during the 2020 regular season.

Engel and Trivino have locked down a spot on their respective rosters for the Wild Card round. The two former RedWolves will also square off in the Wild Card round, which begins Tuesday.

Schmidt has been listed on the Yankees' additional player pool for the Wild Card round against the Cleveland Indians.

Meanwhile, the Padres have yet to announce their Wild Card Series roster for their matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals.
